Terms of Use
The terms on which we make this website available to you, including acceptable use, intellectual property and the status of the information published here.
Welcome to the Oak Leaf Academy website. These terms set out the basis on which you may use this Site and what you can expect from the information published on it.
Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.
01Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Oak Leaf Academy website at oakleafacademy.co.ke (the “Site”). By browsing or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site. We may revise these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
02About the Site
The Site is operated by Oak Leaf Academy, a private mixed day school in Nkama, Kajiado South, Kenya. It exists to provide general information about the School, our Competency-Based Education programmes, our facilities and our admissions process.
The Site is intended for use by parents, guardians and other adults. It is not designed for use by children without adult supervision.
03Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to keep the information on this Site accurate and current. However, information is published for general guidance only and does not form part of any contract between you and the School.
- Details of programmes, grades offered, facilities and co-curricular activities may change as the School develops and as national curriculum requirements evolve.
- Fees, term dates, admission requirements and available places are confirmed only in writing by the school office, and those written confirmations take precedence over anything published here.
- Photographs on this Site are illustrative of our campus and facilities and are not a guarantee of any particular classroom, resource or arrangement.
- Parent testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of any particular outcome for your child.
Before making any decision about enrolment, please contact the school office to confirm the current position.
04No Offer or Guarantee of a Place
Nothing on this Site constitutes an offer of admission or a guarantee of a place at the School. Submitting an enquiry through the contact form does not create an application, reserve a place, or oblige the School to offer one. Admission is subject to our published admissions process, availability, and the signing of the School’s enrolment agreement.
05Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable or impair it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system or database.
- Submit false, misleading, abusive, defamatory or offensive content through any form on the Site.
- Use automated systems, including scrapers, bots or harvesters, to extract data from the Site without our prior written permission.
- Transmit malware, or any code intended to interfere with the operation of the Site or the devices of other users.
- Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your relationship to a learner or to the School.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the Site, and to report conduct to the relevant authorities, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
06Enquiries and Communications
When you submit the enquiry form, you confirm that the details you provide are accurate and that you are the parent, guardian or authorised representative of any child you tell us about.
We use the details you supply solely to respond to your enquiry and to guide you through admissions, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We aim to respond to enquiries promptly, usually within one working day, but we do not guarantee a response within any fixed period.
Please do not use the enquiry form for urgent or safeguarding matters. For anything urgent, call the school office on +254 111 679 685.

If you are a parent or guardian and wish to withdraw consent for an image, please contact the school office and we will remove it promptly.
09Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as those of the Ministry of Education or the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those sites, and a link does not imply endorsement.
10Availability of the Site
We aim to keep the Site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Site may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of factors outside our control such as network or hosting failures. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site without notice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
